Main Line Kitchen Design’s Process:
1
Step 1 – We visit you at home for a free estimate
First, we cover any questions you have over the phone, and if you would like to proceed, we then make an appointment to meet you and to measure and evaluate your kitchen. In order to gain an understanding of what you might like, we bring pictures of kitchen design examples, as well as literature and catalogues for you to keep. Before leaving we make a second appointment to go over our completed initial designs. Both appointments are free of charge.
2
Step 2 – Preliminary computer design
At our second meeting we display and go over our completed designs and make changes to them on our laptops with you present. Depending on your and our availability, this meeting can take place within the following week. Pricing for the cabinetry you select is just the click of a button and if you are able to provide us preferences in countertops, fixtures, appliances, flooring, and backsplash, we can give you reliable pricing estimates for each area as well as estimates for the construction costs. We are glad to work with a contractor you have selected or with one of the many we regularly refer on the basis of the quality of their work and with no remuneration to Main Line Kitchen Design. Unless you require printouts of our work, there is no charge for this step either.

Step 3 – Beginning the Design Process
At this point, customers should know if they would like to proceed with the project and to continue working with Main Line Kitchen Design. After paying a deposit, usually about 5% of the cost of the cabinet order, we release all present and future drawings to you and begin the design process in more detail. The deposit is applied to the cost of your cabinets when the order for them is placed. Kitchen designs can change significantly during the process. For example, a customer may want the island we first designed, or to change the design to a U-shape kitchen, or possibly decide to remove an existing wall.
